About this event
An island favorite ornament, and now you can learn how to make your own!
This little scarfed sheep is a project that involves wrapping wool around a pipe cleaner armature. Once you learn this felting skill, the sky is the limit for all sorts of animals! First-time felters may find this project a little finicky. If you're patient and crafty-inclined you'll do fine. If you're nervous, please see the other Workshops in Nov. and December for more beginnner-friendly projects.
Class will include:
All the wool and felting tools you will need to finish one sheep, with color variations available.
This class takes place in the renovated 1880's log cabin, "the Wooly Homestead", at 4th Seed Farm on Orcas Island. Working with an ancient art medium in a gorgeous historical cabin -- what could be better?
