Come find out about the Nooksack Nordic Ski Club
– the group that makes Nordic skiing in Whatcom County happen!
We’ll have presentations of the things with which the club is active:
Our local Salmon Ridge SnoPark (mile 46.9 on the Mt. Baker Highway)
Work parties happening before the snow falls
Back-country ski trails
Multi-day group ski trips to other places
Free, individualized Nordic ski lessons
Travel to the Tuesday night race series in Canada
Loaner equipment – find out about different types of Nordic skis
We’d call this a ‘dessert potluck’, but we don’t want anyone to not attend because they don’t have a dessert to bring. But if you are so moved to bring a plate of a little ‘finger food dessert’ to share, we would put it out on the table and enjoy it!
We promise the presentations will be SHORT and there will be time to eat desserts, socialize, and chat with club members, new and old. We look forward to seeing you there!
The meeting will be held at the new Backcountry Essentials store, 1417 N State St.
