Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a predominantly ground-based martial art, using the principals of leverage, angles, pressure and timing, as well as knowledge of basic human anatomy, in order to achieve a non-violent submission of one’s opponent. (This class structure is best for ages 5+ but exceptions can be made dependent on child's ability to follow instructions and attention) *Class structure doesn't require use of Gi (uniform) but requires age appropriate athletic apparel*
