English Ivy Basket Weaving

About this event

Learn the fundamentals of basket weaving and create a functional harvest basket you can bring with you to the berry patch or the garden or give away as a handmade gift this holiday season! We'll be working with English Ivy, an invasive species that grows abundantly in the Pacific Northwest. This will be a 6-hour class with a half hour lunch break. Please plan to bring a lunch with you as food will not be provided. We will have access to a fridge to keep lunches cold. All tools and materials for the basket weaving will be provided to you. https://mountvernonwa.gov/calendar.aspx?EID=5442
