For The Living Earth is the musical collaboration of Galen Hefferman & Jahnavi Veronica They weave their songs together with haunting vocal harmonies, plucked and bowed strings, percussion, and the willing voices of those who show up – creating soundscapes rooted in dreams and communications with nature. For The Living Earth seeks to create songs as a balm for challenging times, to transform and revive, and to open to a full hearted life, twisting the fibers of the dream world and the waking world into one, speaking from the underground rivers that feed the springs that jump forth from wild, willed places. They make music as a way to give gifts to all who hear them, to the land they stand on, and to the clear stars above.

Harper Stone's journey into music began in his 20s after a dream encounter with blues legend Son House. Since then, he’s been on a relentless quest, learning everything from old-time mountain tunes to modern ragtime jams. Whether he’s strumming his guitar, picking his banjo, or making his washboard sing, Harper’s dedication to music is clear. He's also a storyteller, performer, and director of Majestic Adventures, where he leads live-action role-playing adventures. When he’s not teaching, you can find him in his wizard’s tower in the woods, playing banjo and conjuring up new tunes.
