Small Business Saturday 2026

About this event

Gift-giving season is near, and the Mount Vernon Downtown Association has one request: shop small FIRST! This Small Business Saturday, November 28th, and all season long we encourage you to shop locally! Small Business Saturday was designed to motivate people to shop at small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Expect a festive day filled with live music, in-store events, and good cheer throughout Downtown! Why it matters: When you shop at our independently owned businesses, your money stays right here at home. It creates local jobs, funds city services through sales tax, and helps keep Mount Vernon the charming, friendly small town we all love.❤️ We hope you'll mark your calendars and join us! #Shopsmall #Shoplocal #ShopMount Vernonfirst
