GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ WSDOT crews began emergency repairs on Highway 20 north of Marblemount on Friday, Jan. 23, replacing a culvert, rebuilding the roadbed, installing guardrail, and removing hazardous trees; after being closed for essential local traffic since mid-December, the highway will reopen in February. - ➤ At WWU’s home court on Saturday, the Vikings women beat Simon Fraser 66–40 before the men ended a three-game skid with an 80–68 win — the teams will play further matchups later this week. My Bellingham Now
