Good morning, Bellingham.

Federal funding from a $1 million disaster recovery grant will soon support flood victims in Whatcom and Skagit Counties following December flooding.

Local relief programs for families, farms and businesses have deadlines between Feb. 20 and Feb. 23.

Whatcom County saw a nearly 33% drop in EMS calls for opioid overdoses and a 37% drop in fatal cases from 2024 to 2025 — gains that come with new overdose prevention resources like eight public-access naloxone boxes placed around the county.

KPUG and the PNW Media Group are hosting the Ultimate 12's Rally at Civic Field today, where Seahawks fans will gather to form the largest human 12 formation.

Gates open at 11:30 a.m. and attendees will be entered in a raffle for a recliner and a $500 gift card.
