ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Bellingham have risen to $4.62 per gallon, matching the state average as shipment delays in the Strait of Hormuz drive higher costs; prices are up 36 cents from last week + 71 cents from last month.  My Bellingham Now

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Forecasters say a storm will drop several feet of snow along the Highway 2 corridor this week, giving local ski areas and restaurants hope to extend operations after a tough winter while businesses prepare for a busy period.  FOX13

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Lummi Island ferry will run limited passenger-only service between Lummi Island and Gooseberry Point from April 25 to May 17 during its annual dry dock outage. Shuttle service will not be provided on the island and operations are expected to resume on May 17.  KISM
