GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State aid applications for households affected by December flooding on Riverview Road in Lynden were extended until April 27; affected residents should submit an assessment of unmet needs to qualify for up to $1,100 in relief + lodging costs. KISM
- ➤ State crews continue clearing I-5 after a Mar. 19 landslide closed northbound lanes near the city. Drivers are urged to use SR-9 & SR-11 while officials work to clear boulders and stabilize the hillside. FOX13
