- ➤ The Red Cross will visit Whatcom and Skagit counties to help residents affected by December’s flooding complete financial aid forms in Everson on Tuesday, Apr. 21 and Wednesday, Apr. 22 and again in Sedro Woolley from Thursday through Saturday. KISM

- ➤ WSDOT is moving the over-100-ton Graffiti Rock to clear the way for a fish passage project this summer. Crews are clearing trees around the rock and plan to chip away its nearly-50-year-old paint, with a new owner to be announced when ready. KAFE
- ➤ The Port of Bellingham will add over 100 parking spaces near Granary Avenue and Chestnut Street ahead of this summer's World Cup Fan Zone, easing access to waterfront attractions like the Granary Building, pump track, and Portal Container Village. KISM
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Clams and oysters harvested by Gomez Shellfish in Mason County were sold at the Community Food Co-op (downtown) and two local restaurants until April and were recalled after five residents reported norovirus-like symptoms. Consumers who purchased the shellfish can cook them or discard them and should see a doctor. KISM
- ➤ Whatcom County Health and Community Services issued a recall on clams and oysters sold at Community Food Co-op downtown and local restaurants after five residents reported norovirus-like symptoms from shellfish harvested by Gomez Shellfish in Mason County between Mar. 22 and Apr. 9.
