GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Ferguson signed HB 1596, known as the BEAM Act, on May 12 to require that vehicles of those convicted of serious speeding charges be fitted with speed limiters. The law comes after a 40% rise in fatal speeding crashes and honors four victims killed in Renton. KISM
