- ➤ Gas prices in Whatcom County hit record highs as the average regular gas is $5.76 per gallon, 44 cents higher than last month, and are expected to rise ahead of Memorial Day weekend. KISM

- ➤ WSDOT crews plan to reopen North Cascades Highway in both directions by Thursday, June 25, ending a closure that began in late April. Emergency repairs include stabilizing a rockslide near Diablo Lake and rebuilding a six-mile stretch east. KAFE
HEALTH NEWS
