- ➤ Plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Homestead Golf and Country Club say they need more clarity on how maintenance fees are spent + they want to set up a homeowners association, causing division in the community. Lynden Tribune

- ➤ Kathryn and J. Patrick Sutton filed a lawsuit against the city over short-term rental rules they say are unfair. The city asked to throw the case out last week—saying it is too much like another suit filed in April and that a new judge now handles the case. KAFE
- ➤ A major connector into downtown Bellingham is set to reopen by the end of June. The city has installed new sidewalks and curbs on the James Street bridge and began paving the roadway—crews will also work on Meador Avenue bridge while final lane closures may occur. KISM
