  • Lee Memorial Park is hosting summer events starting with an Animals as Natural Therapy and Early Childhood Resources Fair on July 10, where families can meet animals and enjoy crafts, games, and music. Bellingham City Council will discuss utility rate increases on July 7 while city offices are closed today for the holiday, and planning is underway for a new waterfront skatepark plus street improvements that will cause lane closures during the week of July 7—fireworks will start at 10:30 p.m. at Zuanich Point Park.  City of Bellingham
