GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of Bellingham opened an online survey to gather residents' feedback on updating the Holly Street bike corridor from Ellis to Broadway—responses on priorities such as parking, public transit, safety, and traffic flow are accepted until September 30 and final construction will finish in summer 2027.  KISM
  • On Monday, July 28, the City of Bellingham required drivers on a downtown stretch of State Street between Holly Street and the roundabout to back into their angled parking spaces, with repaving work finished by midday.
