- ➤ Whatcom County’s former health director, Erika Lautenbach, filed a tort claim seeking $1.5 million for wrongful termination after reporting bullying and hostility from County Executive Satpal Sidhu that led to mental health issues and a brief medical leave, and she alleges the hostile work environment also involved discriminatory treatment. - ➤ WSDOT began work on I-5 in Seattle at midnight Friday with northbound lanes closed while express lanes remained available—drivers experienced delays until early Monday.
