  • A 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook near Lynden on Saturday, October 5 at 7:25 p.m.—its epicenter was about 1.9 miles north-northwest at a depth of roughly 10.2 miles—and only three people reported feeling it. Geologists noted that earthquakes of this size rarely cause damage unless they exceed a magnitude of 4.  FOX13
