- ➤ WSDOT spokesperson RB McKeon said the agency will decide by Saturday, Nov. 1 whether to break up the I-5 graffiti rock for relocation or demolish it so its pieces can be shared with the community—financial and logistical limits mean it cannot be moved whole as a bypass road is built for fish passage at Chuckanut Creek. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Whatcom County Health and Community Services announced a recall of some Twin Sisters Creamery cheeses, including Whatcom Blue, Farmhouse, Peppercorn, and Mustard Seed made between late May and June—two Whatcom residents and one Oregon resident reported E. coli symptoms, and those who bought them should throw them away and sanitize any surfaces they touched.
