- ➤ Gov. Bob Ferguson said hundreds of thousands of Washington residents began receiving food assistance payments after the USDA completed the process to resume SNAP funding by the end of Friday—while the state Department of Health announced that WIC benefits will be available through early December. - ➤ Flight cancellations hit Bellingham International Airport after a government shutdown directive went into effect Friday—at least one Alaska flight was cancelled and FlightAware reported 28 cancellations and nearly 60 delays. Travelers are urged to check their flight status online before heading to the airport. KAFE
