- ➤ BP restarted a key 20-inch segment of the Olympic Pipeline after nearly two weeks of shutdown when a leak reported on Nov. 11 led to emergency declarations in Washington and Oregon+ the pipeline supplies jet fuel to Sea-Tac and fuel for Oregon, and BP has recovered nearly 2,300 gallons so far. - ➤ Local pest experts urge Whatcom County homeowners to rodent-proof their homes before winter by sealing gaps, securing food, and checking attics and crawl spaces for damage. Bio Bug offers free inspections using a detailed checklist—steps meant to protect insulation, wiring, and stored food before holiday damage occurs. KISM
