- ➤ Allied Arts' Holiday Festival of the Arts is in its 46th year and is open daily until 3 p.m. on Dec. 24 at an emptied Rite Aid. Executive Director Kelly Hart oversees setup & takedown to help local makers sell their wares. KISM
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ North Whatcom County shoppers are encouraged to support small businesses this holiday season to keep dollars local. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce reports over 33 million small businesses nationwide, offering plenty of options for holiday shopping. Lynden Tribune

- ➤ Bellingham is set to experience king tides from Saturday, Dec. 6 through Monday, Dec. 8 — water levels could reach 9.9 feet and may cause coastal flooding, as forecast by the State Department of Emergency Management. KISM
