About this event

In honor of the fruit basket that is the San Juan Islands. Needle-felt a sweet little pair of ornaments -- an apple and a pear. These little ornaments are perfect for felters of all levels -- even beginners! They are a good exercise in simple shaping and color blending.

Class will include:

All the wool and felting tools you will need to finish two ornaments. If time allows, you are invited to add to your fruit basket with more.

This class takes place in the renovated 1880's log cabin, "the Wooly Homestead", at 4th Seed Farm on Orcas Island. Working with an ancient art medium in a gorgeous historical cabin -- what could be better?

Further details

Class instruction is $40, plus $5 for materials.

Class is limited to 8 participants ages 12 and up.

If you catch the felting bug I will have supplies/tools for sale. You are welcome to bring your own if you already have favorites.
