- ➤ Lester Payton, aged 57, was arrested on Monday and remains at Whatcom County Jail without bail after a fight at the Ferndale Event Center turned deadly when Anthony Sperry, aged 61 and hired to help with event setup, was assaulted and later died from his injuries. KAFE
